The Robotics Division leads the development of advanced robotics systems that operate alongside the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF). Our research focuses on autonomy, aerodynamics, propulsion, structural dynamics, guidance, navigation, and control. These capabilities have led to significant breakthroughs, such as the V15, Singapore’s first locally developed Vertical Take-Off and Landing Fixed-Wing mini-UAV with class-leading performance.

The V15 features autonomous precision take-off and landing, allowing the SAF to operate it from small, confined spaces. This technological advancement enhances operational flexibility, making the SAF more agile and responsive across diverse environments.
