The Information Division empowers Singapore’s Ministry of Defence and the Singapore Armed Forces in harnessing and exploiting information. We conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and develop cryptographic solutions like the DSO Crypto Chip to secure our cyberspace. Our work in national critical infrastructure protection includes modelling and interdependency studies to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate disruptions, supporting high-level decision-making.

Researching cutting-edge AI technologies such as foundational models, we enable timely data analysis at scale for operational needs. Internally, we contribute to DSO’s digital transformation by enabling AI-powered solutions and applications.
